Privacy policy

• Account details. Your name and email address, and the time zone and delivery time you choose for your daily reminders.
• Purchase details. Stripe takes your payment. We receive a record that you paid, the amount, and your email address. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Your journal. What you write in answer to each day’s prompt, the follow-up questions you are asked, your check-ins, and the actions you record.
• Voice recordings. If you answer by speaking, we store the recording and turn it into text, which you can edit before you send it.
• Usage details. Which program days and videos you have opened, and basic technical information your browser or phone sends, such as device type, needed to run the service.

• To run the program: deliver each day’s recording, prompt, and action, and keep your journal.
• To coach you: your coach reads your answers and gives you feedback.
• To send the reminders you asked for. You can turn notifications off in settings.
• To answer you when you write to us, and to process payments and refunds.
• To keep the service secure and working.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Your coach reads your answers. Coaches also see a short summary of your recent entries before a call. Nobody else at Do It True reads your journal unless you ask us to, for example to fix a problem, or the law requires it.

Once a journal session closes it cannot be edited by you, your coach, or us. That is a promise about your own words, and the system enforces it.

We use these companies to run Do It True. Each receives only what it needs to do its job for us.

• Stripe, to take payments and issue refunds.
• Supabase, to store your account, your journal, and your voice recordings.
• Vercel, to host the website and the service behind the app.
• Anthropic, through Vercel’s AI Gateway, to write the journal’s follow-up questions and the summaries your coach reads.
• Deepgram, to turn voice recordings into text.
• Mux, to stream the program’s videos and recordings.
• Expo, to deliver reminders to the phone app.
• Google Workspace, for email with us.

• Download your journal. Use Download my journal in settings at any time.
• Delete your account. Use Delete account in settings. This removes your account, your journal, and your voice recordings.
• Turn off reminders. Use the notifications setting.
• Ask us. Email support@doittrue.live to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

We keep your account and journal until you delete them. We keep payment records as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your account.

The website and app use encrypted connections. Each person’s journal and recordings are protected so that only that person and their coach can read them. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our systems.

Do It True is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
